Suzanne M. Young was born in Detroit, Michigan. She began her education with a scholarship to the prestigious Pratt School of Art & Design in New York. She received a B.A. in Education from Mercy College and her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture from Eastern Michigan University.
During her early years of creating sculpture, Young felt God calling her to give Him more honor and glory. Soon, creating secular art felt meaningless to Young, so she began sculpting religious art full time. As soon as Young responded to God’s call, her career skyrocketed; she now has artwork displayed in churches, hospitals, and schools throughout the country.
